Jorge Cazzorla Elegant Designs opens in Pittsford NY

Passion for design 

Cazzorla didn’t constantly program on producing a job out of occasion design.

He researched architecture in Caracas and moved to New York Town in the early ’90s. There, he labored sweeping the flooring of a flower and event preparing store.

Thus began his passion for bouquets and celebration planning. In 1994, he produced Celebrate Flowers, an interior structure firm focused on floral decorations.  

He would mix his expertise of inside layout, architecture and floral arrangement to structure spaces and gatherings for planet-renowned companies like the United Nations, and even celebrities’ residences and situations. He’s identified for his floral arrangements that go over and above the flowers in a vase. 

For more than 26 years, his business flourished, but soon after the COVID-19 pandemic hit, he saw a massive transform in the marketplace and city, and he went wanting for new issues.  

Not only a flower shop 

In 2020, Cazzorla was hired by a wedding planner in Rochester to design the marriage of a physician. He spent just about a calendar year traveling back and forth in between New York City and Rochester, staying nights at The Del Monte Lodge Renaissance Rochester Lodge & Spa in Pittsford.  

“Pittsford reminded me a lot of my hometown of Valera in Venezuela. “We are not a flower store, but we use flowers to make the atmosphere that the shopper needs,” said Cazzorla.  

It is not the variety of shop a single walks into to purchase premade arrangements. Clients contact the retailer and depend on Cazzorla and his workforce to build a function of art for any party.   

Cazzorla explained he believes that any vision is doable. He locally sources his bouquets and materials, and he also can import them from countries like Ecuador, Honduras and the Netherlands if necessary.
