Mayor Domenic Sarno and other city officials announce Springfield’s first-ever LGBTQ+ Pride Parade, to be held downtown on June 4

On Tuesday, Springfield Mayor Domenic Sarno and other city officials, joined lead organizer, Taurean Bethea, to announce that the town will host its initially-ever LGBTQ+ Delight Parade downtown on June 4.

The parade will begin at the Springfield Specialized School campus at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4. Attendees, volunteers and organizers will march all the way down to state road, town corridor and Central Square.

Bethea reported the parade will include live music, video games, floats, foodstuff from local suppliers, giveaways and a block bash in front of city hall.
