Environmentally friendly Bandana has planned 3 major gatherings for this semester. The to start with was a partnership with the UI athletics section to sponsor the baseball and softball sport on Sunday.

Tracy Hufford, a lecturer for the foundations of celebration administration course that produces events for Environmentally friendly Bandana, stated a now-graduated scholar brought the Environmentally friendly Bandana Task to the UI.

Hufford reported she realized it was some thing learners would care about.

Dee claimed the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the kinds of situations and the quantity of interaction the Environmentally friendly Bandana Task experienced with students.

Hufford mentioned even though the Green Bandana Project is campus-targeted, there is some community outreach that will take place.
The group outreach has been provided by Rosanne Hopson, a philanthropist involved with numerous group organizations.

Hufford stated Hopson’s involvement encouraged college students from Iowa City West High School to build its personal chapter.
“We met with her all summer time, and now West Large has a Environmentally friendly Bandana,” Hufford claimed.
Green Bandana is hosting two other occasions this semester, Dee said.
“We’re gonna have a luggage match at Massive Grove for the entire Iowa Town local community to appear and play baggage, and they’re offering foods for the celebration,” he mentioned. “And then the 3rd function is Could 4, they’re accomplishing a Star Wars-themed night time yoga session on Hubbard Park.”
Hufford claimed the class this semester wants to expand the involvement of the Green Bandana on campus.
