Winter Art Camp (Ages 6–8): Art & Ecology

In this blended media course, just take inspiration from artists on watch who really like nature and want to shield the setting. You can sculpt, paint, and attract with artist Beatriz Jaramillo.

About the Instructor

Beatriz Jaramillo’s function addresses the landscape as metaphor and modality, highlighting the tensions manufactured by the synthetic separation concerning mother nature and society, and, in the process, inviting the viewer to rethink their fractured romance with nature. Beatriz examined High-quality Arts in her indigenous Colombia, and, in Los Angeles, she acquired an MA in Art Education and learning and an MFA in Studio Art with emphasis in Sculpture/Ceramics. With her get the job done, the artist integrates artwork, science, and engineering with group participation, in get to inspire meaningful dialogues about environmental troubles. Her artwork has been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums in the United states and Colombia. She also has served as a training artist at LACMA and the Norton Simon Museum, as very well as a faculty member at Cal Point out University, as a Ceramic Teacher.
