Fearless Ink: Defying Tattoo Taboos
Many people dream of getting a tattoo. Some people are very impulsive when it comes to getting tattoos. They go out and get tattooed. For many, this is a nightmare. Some are afraid of what the society will say about their tattoos. Tattoos are an art form that allows for expression and have been around since the beginning of time.
Freedom from Corporate World
First, tattoos shouldn’t be used as a way to determine if someone is professional. However, tattoos are often considered unprofessional and immature in our society. Tattoos are becoming more popular. Even in IT hubs like Hyderabad and Bangalore, tattoos are still very much in demand. A tattoo does not necessarily mean you are done with your career. Many people believe that tattoos on the body are not allowed in a corporate job. However, visible tattoos are not a problem. Some tattoos are allowed in the Indian Army. If this bothers you, you can always opt for a hidden location. You should not show your skin in formal wear. It is almost impossible to be rejected after this.
Freedom from Parental / Family Pressure
It is not unusual for family members or parents to refuse to accept a tattoo when it comes to Indian culture. Before you pursue this topic, it is important to assess whether or not the issue is pertinent or rational. Your parents might be concerned about your job after you get a tattoo. You always have the option to talk things out. You should get a tattoo if you have always wanted one. If your family is concerned about adverse effects, you can calmly assure them.
Freedom from Societal Acceptance
The majority of Indians consider a tattoo contentious. People who are tattooed are considered rebellious and too modernized. You don’t have to wonder what other people think once you have made your family happy and have resolved your career issues. If someone has a stereotyped view, it is not your problem. Remember that you have the right to make decisions about your body! No one’s opinion is important if you are able to change your body in your own way. Your tattoo is art and has a personal meaning. You won’t regret getting one. This is a gift you will treasure for the rest your life. You should not be concerned about anyone else’s judgement.
